IMPORTANT INFO *read this wholegrain*

my computer has been acting strange it will usually crash on me for no reason so ive come to the conclusion that i will sometime in the next couple of weeks Backup all my games and such and "refresh" my computer.. by refresh i mean totally restart everything on it like erase it all so it works again so yea

it may take me a while to Re-download everything so i may be gone for a good solid week to 2 weeks that is when i decide to do the inital restart so dont go into mass panic when teh yahtzee is away

This is normal. I reinstall everything once a year. Usually the same time I buy a few part upgrades =]

shouldn't take a few weeks but meh at least thx for posting perhaps we should get an admin away section on the forums much like skg.

Yeah, seeing as how insanitosis is also having computer problems, an admin away section might be a good idea.

I just had to go through a full reinstall of steam and all games I run with steam and it took a while, (thank god i backup important files) so I know how much it can suck.

Working in that section right away.

yea it has happend to me once before and it was the hugest pain in the ass kuz my download interweb speed is so butt fuckingly slow

It all depends on what you have and of course your budget. I usually go for accessories when on a budget just to give it a new feel after reinstalling such as keyboard/mouse/case/headset/etc.

RAM is cheap nowadays. . .

ur right ram is like really cheap nowadays

but anyway my computer is freezing in the startup prosess soooooo yeaaa any ideas people? it will usually work when i spam the on/off button 5 seconds for 30 mins or so but not tonight

Post specs of computer and I may be able to narrow it down.

If it's an older computer it may just be easier to build another one.

its not that old actually its a 32 bit vista
