| for everyone basically well those that pitch in would get a big ol slice of the server box. If ppl didnt pay they would be exempt from using the box. If you want to look at the quality i have to say it is MUCH better than sacmos crappy server box sacmos box has very high ping and he never really did anything.
you wouldn't pay per slot so you could get a really good deal since most servers in cg are okish but i doubt they surpass 50 ppl at any given time so we would be good on bandwith | |

| thing is i doubt we can get that much money that is the real challenge even if we do get 120 dollars how do we keep the flow constant? cause if we cant pay the next month the servers would just go down Im talking to a few ppl about sharing a server box possibly | |

| I can get $25 to $50 CAN dollars to you every month. If we can pull this together, or see if we get enough donations every month to get one. | |

| I dont see the benefit personally, i pay $20 a month and my server runs fine, thats all i care about, plus getting this would require everyone having to relearn how to do maintenance/setup for all their 'servers' in the box, just sounds like a pain for not much benefit to me. | |

| I like the idea. The money would be an issue though. But complete control over our servers...Hmm | |

| well for kat i doubt it but for those of us that want to expand then yes. Also for 20 dollars with your server population as it is you could get 3x the slots for same price (60 slots or 3 20 slot server etc...) so that would be a benefit depending on how you would view it. Also relearn? its the exact same thing anyways i wasnt really expecting you chris to do it because strategically it doesn't make too much sense if you are fine with where you are (this is contradictory to my statement above but is the pro and my personal opinion of a con) I myself would REALLY want to do extensive testing on the server box and i know an ip change would kill our server a bit and im not sure if we can take another blow so im going to be doing heavy research and see if it would benefit in every area including cg community and all seperate communities. we would have to put our vent on the server so that is $5 our tf2 server we would take down and finance the server box that is $20 also if not possible we can sell servers i know a few ppl that would like to buy servers who trust me personally because they used to play on my server and all that etc... if pod pitched in they could up their servers to 24 slots without paying any more money remember YOU DONT PAY PER SLOT just for how much bandwith which is the players amount and to be honest as a whole community we dont get THAT many players so $25 from claires (+$30 if i throw in our zps server) (pod estimate correct me juani if you can) (17+17 gameservers.com servers) $25.5 (if you got the deal) $25-50 from IVG we still fall 25 to 50 dollars flat per month | |

| also might i add that then we can put up servers for zmbe garrysmod with little hassle Some major hang ups are the money should collect somewhere and be transferred on the payment date. Now we would have to find someone trusty to hold the money and then we would have to keep close track of the money. if pod, IVG, claires pitch in $24 $25 $25-$50 =$74-$99 we still fall about $40 short per month where to generate $40 is hard but im sure we can find something as i suggested before selling servers would be an option. | |

| Well, after looking this over. I think having the same provider would be better than Dedicated Box and multiple providers. But, it would be hard for everybody to change their provider. For one, there would be an IP change. | |
